About glowstarly

Training the people who keep live television and streaming on air

glowstarly is a United Kingdom training provider dedicated to live production. We teach multi-camera switching, live broadcasting technique, real-time video operation and control room management inside real broadcast studios.

Our story

Built by control room operators, for control room operators

glowstarly was founded by a group of technical directors and vision mixers who were frustrated by how few practical, hands-on courses existed for live production roles in the United Kingdom. Most training focused on theory. We built glowstarly around real desks, real cameras and real live pressure.

Today, glowstarly runs courses from partner studios across the UK, training vision mixers, technical directors, camera operators and streaming producers who go on to run live shows for broadcasters, streaming platforms and outside broadcast units.

What we stand for

Practical training, industry standards

Small crews, real desk time

Every session keeps trainee numbers low so each person spends real time on the switcher, not just watching.

Taught by working professionals

Our instructors direct and mix live broadcast and streaming shows every week across the UK.

Industry-recognised outcomes

glowstarly certificates are recognised by partner broadcasters and production companies nationwide.

In the studio

Training that mirrors a real broadcast day

Each course day is structured like a real production shift: briefing, rig checks, rehearsal, a live run and a full debrief. Trainees rotate through switcher, camera and gallery-management roles so every graduate understands the whole control room, not just one seat.
